8/27 My hands get pretty cold when I type. Is there such a thing as a
hand/infrared warmer that you can attach close to your keyboard?

8/20 I can get a screaming deal ($500) to go to Tokyo in February and I
have never been so I am interested. However, is it really still
too cold and windy? Will I be better off paying a few hundred
dollars more and going in April?
\_ yes. April is better. Fly first class JAL too.
           \_ Uh, why?

MouseMitt Keyboarder Wrist Supports reduce wrist pain MouseMitt Keyboarders Constructed of a double layer of stretchy Nylon or Cotton Spandex. A dense open-cell foam pad is sandwiched between the Spandex on the inside and a vinyl pad cover on the outside. Fingers are free to move, palms stay cool, and the wrists are warm. The Mitt slips easily on and off without the need for bulky Velcro straps. The built-in pad cushions and cradles the wrist, and disperses the weight of the hand, protecting the wrist as it rests or slides across the work surface. Best of all, the pad stays with the wrist, and therefore is always in the perfect place. Excellent for those who have pain in their wrist or want to avoid injury. If you are always taking your braces off in order to be able to work, try this light-weight, comfortable alternative.

MouseMitt SoftSplints SoftSplints are designed for people who want their hands and fingers to be warmer, but still need too work. SoftSplints come in two styles: Stretch Fleece and Cotton Spandex. The Fleece provides more warmth, and the Cotton is closer fitting. Personal preference will determine your choice, however, as a guide we suggest that if you are doing a lot of typing then you may want the closer fitting Mitt. Both the stretch fleece and the cotton spandex retain body heat, keeping the hand and fingers warmer. The tips of the finger are open to promote manual dexterity. The built-in pad stabilizes the wrist, and disperses the weight of the hand when it rests on the work surface.
