3/7 What's people's general opinion on puncture-proof inner tubes vs.
putting sealant-type stuff inside a normal inner tube? - norby
\_ what the hell are you talking about?
           \_ puncture-proof is a self-cancelling phrase. And those things
weigh a ton. Pump up your tires more often and don't worry
about it, is my advice. -tom
\_Polyurethene (sp?) tubes aren't that heavy, neither are Latex
tubes, both are puncture resistent. Also, try Kevlar belted
         tires....light and strong...
\_ Normal tubes are polyurethane. Latex tubes need to be
pumped up every day. Kevlar belted tires do practically
nothing to reduce flats and significantly affect your
            ride. -tom
\_ Normal tubes are butyl rubber. ask someone who has
$pent many a $ on cheap regular ones.

\_ OK, if "normal" means "bought at K-Mart"
