I just got back from a road trip through a bunch of the Mountain States, and it really hit me how bad California is. If they erect memorials in a park for AIDS, where are the memorials for people who died of heart disease, stroke and cancer? The state is broke, but they have money for things like this, which the people who live around the park object to. All told, I'd wager this state is 62% Leftist, judging solely by the ratio of 20 Republican congressional representatives out of 53 total. Our soon to be ejected state leaders are a disease, not the state itself. Cali is still a cesspool that proper folk would do well with abandoning. Let it have the fast track to "California" - it's inevitable anyway given our cowardly Pols on both side of the aisle. I don't see any reason that anyone who dies of AIDS should be viewed as a Hero. It's about 73 degrees, slight on shore pacific breeze, clear, visibility is about 30 miles, some off shore fog, but it's burning off.
