6/9     I recently modified my inetd.conf file on my FreeBSD-4.7 box
        to allow for ftp. I ended up restarting my machine to put
        this change into effect, but I'm not sure that was necessary.
        Was there another way to do it? Thanks.
        \_ kill -HUP <inetd PID>        -John
