I have a virtual server with some root, say /home/user/public_html/
and in there I have two subdirs, say /app1/ and /app2/
and i want the following:

has anything to read off it. Problem is, I can have up to 12228
file descriptors, and Linux fd_set only supports up to 4096. Any idea
