10/22 Clinton Korea policy has left us a more dangerous world
with a nice photo of Roger Clinton in North Korea
        http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/773836/posts
\_ Jesus Christ you Freepers sure have an unhealthy obsession
with Bill Clinton. Did you know he is not the president
           anymore?
\_ Really? Clinton and the Dems are one and the same.
\_ a democrat is president? STOP THE PRESSES!!!
\_ Clinton fucked this country time and time again, and
we will continue to pay for it. And yet
in your eyes hes a saint.
\_ Bush turned this country into a totalitarian
society that would make communist USSR look like
a thriving democracy. The Clinton years were
some of the best years of my life in this country
                      until someone messed it up.
\_ Stop being naive. Nuclear technology is going to spread no
matter what. We just have to deal with this fact (along with
the fact that we have unleashed nuclear weapon on defendless
civilian in the past, which justifies others to do the same).
Clinton tried to make friend with them, it is probably the
best defense policy one can make. And... remember, United
States CREATED North Korea if you actually try to remember
things we have done which we are not proud of.
\_ 'Unleashed nuclear weapons on defendless civilian'
ummm, yeah - this is what you are taught at Berkeley?
Nice historical revisionism - youre either very young
                    and naive or completely ignorant.
Yours is the Carter doctrine right? Make
friends and everyone plays nice - history clearly
                    vindicates your position.

2/20 Ok serious question, NOT political. This is straight up procedural.
Has it been declared that we didn't find WMD in iraq? (think so).
So why did we go into iraq (what was the gain), and if nobody really
knows, why is nobody looking for the reason?
\_ Political stability, military strategy (Iran), and to prevent

8/5 Regarding NKorea relesing the journalists, here's what I think the
actual deal between Kim and Obama is:
        - Both agree that Kim needs to save, or gain, face to pave the way for
his son's succession and for NK's stability.
        - Both agree that Obama doesn't like losing face by publicly
          apologizing.

Our enemies have seen our weakness (which was a HUGE mistake, mistakes the Clinton admin made) and are possibly ganging up on us, so to speak. Someone on another thread said, this all could lead to WWIII. We trust this administration, and feel this President is cleaning up a HUGE dangerous mess. The quicker Americans get behind our country, the faster this will all be over. But putting our collective heads in the sand, makes this a WAY MORE DANGEROUS WORLD. It would have been nice to have NK keep it's part of the bargain, but truth be told, we didn't keep ours. Breaking agreements is something the GWB administration is equally adept at. Can you post anything that shows President Bush broke an agreement? No wonder they thought they could lie to us, they were dealing with the lowest of low lifes. The Republicans controlled both the Senate and the House during much of Clinton's term and since all funding comes from the House, the Republicans are as much to blame as Clinton. Like Iraq, where President's Reagan and Bush helped build up Saddam, the US has basically given Korea the nuclear bomb. Bomb them preemptively like Israel has done in the past to its neighbors getting close to nuclear weapons? Maybe even drop this in the UN's lap and then whine that they're not doing anything. Or just give up and say go ahead and take South Korea, much like we've done with Taiwan? Clinton then declined to inform Congress of the evidence that NK was violating their treaty. The closest your statement comes to being true was the cascade effect of Clinton cronies leaking nuclear weapons secrets to the Chinese, which scared India into pushing their program, which scared Pakistan into re-igniting their program, which almost resulted in a nuclear war, which got Pakistan to get missile technology from North Korea in exchange for nuclear tech. In hindsight EVERY administration would have done things differently. But it is the naiveity and ignorance which Clinton/Albright/Perry/ etc have represented us, that has gotten us where we are today. I feel President Bush handled the Gulf War to the letter of the resolutions he had from the UN. The problem was when Clinton took over, and eventually inspectors were not allowed to do their job. At the time when President Reagan was dealing with Iraq and Iran, IRAN was a HUGE Threat. It is a matter of dealing with the lesser of two evils, and the world "IS" a safer place than it was during that period, with regard to Iran. But, thanks to no one at the helm for 8 long years, and mamby pamby people like Madeline Albright, and Sec. And they need the support of our nation and the world in order for any of us to survive it. This administration is just now hearing of the damage done by the previous adminstration. Clinton then declined to inform Congress of the evidence that NK was violating their treaty. It was done without the approval of Congress as it was supposed to be either. But it was in the news, and it is a published/known fact that he did so, and in a way that subverted the way it was supposed to happen, if things like that happened at all. Very suspect then, and even more so in light of all we now know. She may not have been speaking of Clinton when she said, "There is no safety for honest men but by believing all possible evil of evil men", but the shoe fits. I didn't know how worth repeating until I saw the terrific posts to the thread (I had just read the column when I wrote you back). It is one of the most insulting things x42 has done to the American public (one of many, but this one ranks high on the list). It appears your Harvard experience and liberal leanings (I've read most of your replies to other threads) make you so much more knowledgeable than the rest of us. Better yet, why don't you stick to your usual defense of perjury, homosexuality and atheism? ROGER CLINTON didn't get $100,000's from the Communists of North Korea while he and his Rock Band toured there during the CLINTONS' Administration. Korean visit (50th Commie celebration) at the USS Cole bombing press conference? Feels good to laugh, cause it is so serious a subject it makes you want to cry! Feels good to laugh, because we need some relief from the disaster Clinton has done to us all. Agree with you FRiend, I'll take Mona Charen over Maureen Dowd"y" any day of the week. I forgot about all the money Ole' Roger made from the commies. I also think they know this administration KNOWS what they are up to.
