8/18 Middle East Forum - policy analysis
http://www.meforum.org
\_ Well written. Pro-Isreali, in a thoughtful way. -soda liberal
\_ Read the discussions after the articles.
\_ Does being liberal automatically mean not pro-Israeli? Is
that a part of being on the left? Is that a plank in the
Dem platform?
\_ One could only hope, but the truth is quite the opposite.
\_ No you are very confused. liberals are ~anti-Isreal
liberal has little to nothing to do with Dems./Repubs.
\_ E.g., Dem. Sen. Leiberman, Feinstein & Boxer are
about the most hardline Israel supporters in the
Senate. It helps that all three are Jewish.
\_ But I thought Republicans are conservatives and Democrats
are liberals.
\_ Return thee to thy slimy cave without cookie, thou
pitiful troll! |
