The disruption led to knock-on delays as the airline tried desperately to reschedule the flights. Yesterday was the beginning of a new insurance year and all the documents had been sent to the relevant aircraft. It was simply an oversight as no-one had put them on the planes. A lot of them had noticed that last years insurance was still on their planes. However, due to an administrative error, a number of insurance documents had not been placed on the relevant aircraft overnight.
