www.webguild.org In the past Agile development has been thought of primarily for small teams and projects. However, Agile development is beginning to be used much more pervasively with large and in some cases highly distributed teams. Virtually everywhere it is used, Agile methods demonstrate quantifiable benefits in time to market, quality, and productivity over alternative techniques. Recently, leading analysts such as Forrester and Gartner have documented the success that Global 1000 companies are achieving with Agile methods. In this panel, three Agile practitioners will: * provide an overview of Agile concepts * compare and contrast Agile with other frameworks such as RUP and CMM * describe case studies of Agile methods in use The panel will also leave significant time for questions and dialogue with the audience.
