3/7 Racial profiling in Israel. Brutal oppression continues....
        http://www.jpost.com/Editions/2002/03/07/LatestNews/LatestNews.44770.html
\_ Quit trolling. Racial profiling in Israel is real, this is
not one of those instances however.
\_ They tackled some dude and dragged him out because he was
              a) sweating, b) wouldn't answer the waiter's questions and
most importantly c) was Palestinian. Think about it. No troll.
\_ Did you read the article? According to the article, it seems
like he actually had a bomb. I must admit though, it's very
hard to tell since the writing is so poor. Did they
find a bomb, or did they just blow up a suitcase?
\_ Did they rough up anyone else or just this one guy for
looking nervous and being caught in a cafe being from the
wrong part of the gene pool?

2/20 Ok serious question, NOT political. This is straight up procedural.
Has it been declared that we didn't find WMD in iraq? (think so).
So why did we go into iraq (what was the gain), and if nobody really
knows, why is nobody looking for the reason?
\_ Political stability, military strategy (Iran), and to prevent
           Saddam from financing terrorism.

10/9 Will Glen Beck's head explode?
\_ Oh, I'm sure he'll rant and rave. What else is new?
Of course, giving Obama the peace prize is dumb, but it's a step
up from Al Gore. At least a dozen steps up from Arafat.
           \_ Kissinger beats them all.
\_ Kissinger stunk, but worse than Arafat? I dunno. That's close.

In one classroom Saturday, when UNRWA schools reopened, a Palestinian
teacher was filmed asking children about their trauma during the war.
The unidentified teacher then told the children that Palestinians have
to "wage war against them (Israelis) until they leave their land," and
asked her students, aged about 8, how they should react.

The Palestinian, who was apparently planning an attack on the German Colony's main thoroughfare, set a bag or suitcase containing a large bomb in the popular Caffit cafe. There were no casualties in the incident, Israel Radio reported. Police sappers have reportedly taken the powerful device to an isolated location to detonate it in a controlled explosion. Today was the first day Caffit posted a guard for afternoon duty, said Jerusalem Post reporter Stuart Winer. He had just arrived when a customer pointed out a man who appeared suspicious. When the suspicious-looking man offered only vague answers to questions about his identity and what he was carrying, the owner, Gabi Atlaratz, said he realized the man was a terrorist. It was then he noticed the remote-control triggering device in his hand. The guard, a waiter, and the customer who first noticed the terrorist pushed him outside, separated him from the explosive device, and called the police. A massive security contingent arrived on the scene and sealed off the area, dispersing pedestrians about 200 meters from the scene of the cafe. Police caught the terrorist, reportedly stripped him, and found no additional explosive devices. They closed off the area, opened it, and a short time later closed it again when they found another suspicious object. An eyewitness said the terrorist was smiling throughout the duration of the incident, even after his capture by police.
