5/16 Can anyone tell me what Greece is hoping for by rejecting austerity?
From here it seems like the austerity is a pretty generous attempt
to keep Greece from imploding entirely. Are they hoping the
Germans will put them on eternal state welfare, or what?
Also, why would an outright default mean they must leave the Euro?
Is it just that they won't be able to pay basic gvmt services

Today, United Poultry Concerns' President, Karen Davis, called Larry Brayman, the Director of Corporate Affairs for CKE Restaurants, which owns Carl's Jr. It models itself on scenes of gang rape and on a medical examination of one's body that no one would consent to have publicly aired. It exemplifies the connection that has recently been suggested by UPC President Karen Davis, philosopher Peter Singer, and others between industrial animal agriculture and "bestiality"-human sexual assaults upon other animal species that comport with manipulating them for reproduction and 'meat," as when teams of men-"milkers"-- masturbate male turkeys and roosters for their semen and manually inseminate turkey hens and chicken hens with the semen thus obtained. We are encouraging people to protest to Larry Brayman directly at his St. United Poultry Concerns promotes the compassionate and respectful treatment of domestic fowl.

Links Vision World class leadership in the Pork Industry Mission To develop and deliver programs, products and expertise to achieve excellence in the global pork industry From the News Room MORE EMPHASIS ON SERVICES FOR COMMERCIAL SWINE PRODUCERS AT ONTARIO SWINE IMPROVEMENT (OSI) INNERKIP, ONTARIO - March 31: Commercial pork producers in Ontario now have an increased range of services to choose from at Ontario Swine Improvement. In response to the growing demand, the Tools of the Trade program for commercial producers now offers a "Basic" option. This allows commercial producers to try the program out, explains Gribble. OSI has also recently added other new programs to its Commercial Services department, including Herdsman record keeping software and benchmarking. Through their Ontario Swine Improvement Program (OSIP), OSI evaluates about 30 per cent of all the Canadian Centre for Swine Improvement (CCSI) pigs tested. OSI Genetics AI unit provides access to high quality genetics that would otherwise not be available to many herds. I unit," comments Marlow Gingerich, OSI Swine Genetics Manager. Among the top animals driving growth for the unit is a purebred Yorkshire from Ontario with a Sire Line Index (SLI) of 196 - the top SLI in Canada today. These traits include Estimated Breeding Values (EBVs) for days and feed conversion in addition to the Sire Line Index. He is currently ranked second in Canada for lean yield index and has the fourth highest SLI index in the country. It is one of the few to offer five day per week delivery to a large part of Ontario via OSI's own couriers. The unit provides semen, breeding supplies and genetic services to an established network of customers across Canada. Facilities are located near Innerkip, Ontario, in an area where there is no swine production in close proximity to maximize biosecurity. OSI does not own a sow herd to produce genetics, but continuously sources boars from the best breeders in the marketplace. Ontario Swine Improvement is an industry-run organization dedicated to providing swine improvement and genetic products, programs, information and expertise.
