11/9 When the Taliban asked to see the evidence of bin Laden's guilt,
        why did our gov't refuse?
\_ becuase when Clinton gave evidence that was very clear, they
just shrugged it off. (the african embassy bombings)
\_ yes, they said there's nothing they can do since he is there guest
\_ Any good links to this? I want to read more about it.
                        \_ http://www.google.com It's everywhere.
\_ what's wrong with you? are you pro-taliban or something? the
taliban has no intension to turn over bin laden. so why do we bother
give them hard evidence? besides, bin laden is wanted even before
           911. U.S. has to take military action. Do you think you can sit
there and tell the terrorists to submit themselves? One good example
is the bible has been around and preached for thousands of years,
there are still terrorists. So those who oppose the U.S. action
suggest us just sit around and forget 911 ever happened?
\_ Because the US has no proof. This whole thing was cooked up by
the CIA to keep Bush in power in strengthen their role.
\_ And the CIA and Bigfoot are in cahoots with Castro and Elvis
from his space ship to take over the world!
\_ Our leaders want to get some "quick results", and they have
faith in our vastly superior military prowess to attain it.
Only capturing or killing Bin Laden ourselves is satisfying
enough. Bin Laden ending up in some Taliban negotiated
international court just doesn't cut it. They want a total
victory and infinite justice, to hell with a few collaterally
damaged human lives or a little starvation in Afghanistan.
\_ They weren't going to turn him over then, now, or ever to anyone.
\_ How would you know? The Taliban may be harsh and fanatic,
but they are not unprincipled. That's why they stopped
opium growing in Afghanistan in spite of the fact that it
earned the country a lot of money. Khaddafi (spelling?)
gave up the terrorist who bombed a British plane.

5/9 If U.S. doesn't do assissination, then what do you call
Operation Neptune Spear aka "Mission Kill Bin Laden"?

5/4 So, Bin Laden, star of Fox News, dies at 51. But really the
question is, when are we declaring war on pakistan for
        1. harboring a known terrorist
        2. taking our money ($ billions) for "antiterror" operations?
        Clearly we got scammed here.

1/4 Why the fascination with blowing up airplanes? Airports have tight
security. It doesn't seem worth it. It's far easier to derail a
train or set off explosives in a crowded place like a theater or
sporting event. As many or more people will be killed and it will
still make the news. I don't get why all of our security, and
apprently much of the terrorist's resources, is focused on airplanes.

12/4 you know the 1999 ending of ST:DS9 shows the protagonists working
as terrorists, and all worried about a police state coming for the

\_ Why not raise tuition? At private universities, students generate
revenue. Students should not be seen as an expense. UC has
