7/23 I'm thinking about using Doonesbury as the root of a DeCal
"Contemporary History" class. Would anyone be interested in taking it?
\_ i would, but i'm not in school, and i'm weird and
have been reading doonesbury for 20 years. there
was an article in the sunday chronicle about the minister
who is the basis for the doonesbury minister character.
        \_ I'd take that. -dans
\_ they ought to have used opus instead of tux as the linux mascot.
           \_ different strip
        \_ DeCal doesn't work w/ cable modem
\_ Doonesbury hasn't been funny for at least 10-15 years. -John

10/26 Since yesterday's doonesbury link was deleted, here's a somewhat
        more humorous one:
        http://doonesbury.com/strip/dailydose/index.html
        \_ I don't delete comic links but I don't see a point in posting
well known ones like doonesbury. He has a known and very clear
perspective that some like and others don't. His fan base is

(Source URL for Dubya's hometown paper endorsing Kerry)
\_ Seriously, stop posting this crap. If you continue to
do this I'll change your links to porn sites.

10/14 This is getting down right irritating. Doonesbury link shortened
        for motd readers *again.*
        http://csua.org/u/9h0
\_ Doonesbury's not been funny, witty, informative or thought-
provoking in about 20 years. Why do you bother?
\_ This has nothing to do with Doonesbury.

5/5 Man, I just don't get today's Doonesbury. Maybe it's because I
        don't drink. http://www.ucomics.com/doonesbury/index.phtml
\_ Wine is not a "populist" drink. Bush has always appeared as
"one of the regular joe". Regular Joes drink Busch beer.
\_ Ha, ha. You funny man.
\_ No really, move to the South. You'll understand.
