7/19 I want to host a basic website running on my home computer. Any
recs on a DSL provider that will let me have my own domain, whose
service doesn't suck, and is under $100/mo?
\_ First world has a 192K/1.5M line for $69/mo. The line comes
\_ Firstworld has a 192K/1.5M line for $69/mo. The line comes
with two static IPs and they don't care what domain name you
           register for those IPs.
Alternatively you could try sprintbroadband (wireless). The
"line" is 256K/2M for $49/mo and comes with one static IP.
You need line of site to Monument Peak though.
\_ Hey genius, Firstworld is dumping their DSL customers on
Earthlink with no guarantees as of August 31st, so...
\_ Where did you read this? I can't seem to find it on
their web page, but if its true, I need to switch my
                 line soon.

possible? My condo offers HOA-paid basic DirecTV/Multiband

offers TimeWarner broadband. There is only ONE cable going from

I can either get DirecTV/Multiband cable, or broadband cable, but

4/19 After installing Logitech wireless mouse, my friend cannot connect from

2/25 Hi motd. A friend of mine wants to keep her AOL e-mail address (or
set up forwarding) since she got a cable modem. From what I found
on http://aol.com, it sounds like she wants to switch from AOL Dial-up
($24/month) to AOL Broadband ($15/month). Is this the right way
(I guess via AOL account management or calling them up)?
Is there a cheaper way? Anyone have any experience? Thanks!

About 2 weeks ago, someone brought to my attention that our script
