6/29 [10:50 PM] I can't believe I'm still stuck at work on the friday before
"summer vacation". I was supposed to be at home playing
Curse of Monkey Island, but no, everybody else had to leave
because of thier flights and I'm stuck here fixing thier
shitty broken code desperately trying to ship our beta.
It would be one thing if this my code (the low level net
and cyrpto stuff), but its the shitty php ui! PHP UI! $(%#*!
I can't believe I work with such a bunch of undedicated idiots
Since the obviously care more about their personal lives than
being employed, I'm going to recommend them all for "voluntary
attrition" at the next company meeting. I guess the bright
side is that I'll be getting the entire bonus for our group
this quarter. On second thought, I'll wait till after they
see me recieve the only bonus check before recommending them
                  for "voluntary attrition".
                        \where do you work? -nesim
\_ Get a life, nerdboy. Go home and try to lose some weight.
\_ He has a life. He plays Curse of Monkey Island.
\_ sounds like either you or your manager didn't manage your
time effectively - and now you're using the geek "work
all night all day i'm a mole in soda hall" cliche. Lives
are good things that all people should have.
I should mention that i mean "you" in the plural, you
may have not wasted time at all, but obviously your dev
team was not working to full efficiency. This is probably
due to the mgmt not understanding the technology enough to
feel comfortable enforcing sub-project due dates. - paolo
\_ It is more likely that management is so clueless
that they don't understand what a project sub-date
                        even means. -ausman
