2/16    I'm going to SE Asia for 2.5 months.  I have a question about
        anti-malaria pills.  Anyone who's been to SE Asia and is at all

                      \- malaria prophylactics work in a very different way
                      from other vaccinations. you can ask your Q here, but
                      if you have a medical question, best to ask a medical
                      person rather than a fellow traveller. CDC should have
                      some region-specific info ... this is very important for
                      malaria --psb, who has done meflequin, chloroquin etc.

        \_ My girlfriend went to India for 6 months... took Malaria pills...
           had terrible nightmares the whole time... stopped taking them and
           they went away.      ...my two cents
