1/30 What's an "open question"? Thanks. -- non-native English speaker
\_ no difinitive answer
\_ one that hasn't been solved
\_ this is the right one.
\_ He might also be talking about an "open-ended question," which

basically a question that has no right answer but can be answered
intelligently nonetheless.
[all wrong answers purged. let's try to be helpful sometimes.]
\_ Thanks for all the help!

an open question, while "Should we extend BART to San Jose?" is an
open-ended question.
\_ well... most of terrestrial life is "outside" the earth... |
