\_ there's a guy at the marina who sells kites out of a trailer...
yeah, they have some crummy ones at games of berkeley...

\_ Some of the guys at the SF marina also have pretty good insider
tips of custom places, either around here, or per mail order
in various parts of the country. I'd cruise down there and
start chatting with some of the more clued-looking ones. -John

You can pick them up either in SF (Haight) or South Bay (Cupertino).
It's also great to see that people still don't respect motd write locks

6/25 I'm a newbie trying to learn SF neighborhoods, which seem to be
a colloqial concept not written down anywhere. Is there a map like
the following (but higher res) that looks like this?

Our guarantee has been the same for over 20 years: we test fly our kites, carry only the best and guarantee your satisfaction with everything you buy. Choose from over 70 beginner, all around, power, trick, light wind and quad line stunt kites. Screaming Meemie We had way too much fun testing this kite. It needs a gentle touch, but the Meemie axels at the speed of light. The wind range is awesome and it exits tricks just as abruptly as it enters them. These are some of our most popular and reliable beginners' kites. Made of polyester on fiberglass frames, they're inexpensive enough to collect and change on a whim. Sponsored by Into The Wind and the 43 American Kitefliers Association. We will be giving away a beginner stunt kite, the Spider by Flying Wings, to the winner of our monthly drawing.
