07/15 I don't get s/key... isn't soda supposed to issue an s/key
challenge when I ftp into soda?
\_ You must be this tall to use skey
\_ You have to set up your key first. see man skey(1)
                \_ http://soda.CSUA.Berkeley.EDU% man skey(1)
                   Badly placed ()'s.
\_ You must be this tall to use man
\_ "skey(1)" means to type "man 1 skey" -- it looks up skey
in manual section 1 (user commands). The section number
is optional, but it matters if there are two manpages
with the same name -- for example, printf(1) tells you
about the "printf" command-line utility, but printf(3)
tells you about the C library function.
\_ SONOFABITCH!! I can't believe someone actaully posted
a usefull and non-insulting reply!! Surely the motd
gods will banish you for eternity! You asked for it!
                   \_ man skey

7/14 Does anyone know of a solution allowing s/key for Windows logons?

\_ Logons _to_ Windows boxes. Interested in whether there are
any similar OTP solutions not requiring one-time pads, exact
time or communication between the target host and the one
generating the response to auth challenge. -John

2/29 Anyone here have access to an openbsd machine? I'd like to know if
their implementation of s/key is broken for SHA-1 and RIPEMD-160
(at least, it's broken in Yuri Yudin's port of openbsd s/key).
From RFC 2289, running 'skey -sha1 99 correct' and using
"OTP's are good" as the passphrase should give
"AURA ALOE HURL WING BERG WAIT". If someone can try that, I'd

11/25 How do I get openssh to work with s/key? I've got skey working and
have passwords, but having trouble making openssh use them.
        \_ obGoogle
\_ Google on "skey openssh" gives a million links on
                   the old ssh vulnerability

7/29 Can some one tell us some definitive info about what's going on
with pop? it hasn't worked since the ip change. Do I need to
        change port number?
\_ The sort-of official, and thoroughly unannounced answer is that
clear-text POP/IMAP has been disabled since the recent compromise.
You can only use SSL enabled POP/IMAP clients. Hopefully we will

2/13 How is telnetd configured to disallow logins? It seems to allow all
