2/10    I finally got to talk to the professor at CMU. He was very informal and
        I got to call him by his first name. His first question to me was
        "WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED IN YOUR LAST SEMESTER?" Then after about a
        minute of chatting, he said he had a meeting and would call me back.
        However, it has been a day, and he hasn't called yet. Should I wait
        patiently, or call him back?

           \_ not yet, I think he wants to find out more before making a final
              decision.
