11/12   Anybody here read either one of the following books have any
        opinions. I would like to get a book that explains protocols
        and layers sufficiently. Which one of the two below is better?
        Any suggestions..
        -- Computer Networks by Andrew S. Tanenbaum
        -- Computer Networks : A Systems Approach
             by Larry L. Peterson, Bruce S. Davie, Larry A. Peterson

        \_ Can't say I've read either, but I learned most of what I know
           about networking from reading UNIX Network Programming by
           Stevens and working through writing some programs based on the
           information therein... YMMV -brg
