8/26 Late Night Denizens of Soda Rejoice! BofA is bringing you an ATM!
Watch for a versatel machine to appear this fall at the cafe on the
        roof of Bechtel Hall!
\_ Sounds bad for Le Petit & Seven Palms...
\_ Oh, it sure does! I bet they'll go out of business now!
YOU ARE A PATHETIC EXCUSE FOR AN ABORTION AND YOU WOULD BE
MARKEDLY IMPROVED BY INDEFINITE TORTURE. -(fucker)
\_ I wouldn't rejoice at a new BofA ATM appearing _anywhere_.
"Hey! $75 transaction fee for non-customers who withdraw
from this ATM!" Couldn't the School of Engineering have cut
from this ATM!" Couldn't the powers-that-be have cut
a deal with a credit union, or some less profiteering bank?
\_ like C.U.B.S. for example, something
that would have made _sense_ and been
                                   good for the students...

5/18 What's a good bank with decent interest rate for savings or MM?
I'm looking for something that's not too inconvenient (with tellers
within 20 miles of major cities) and with higher interest rates
        than BofA and Wells Fargo.
\_ Isn't there a canonical approach to keep a small amount of money
~$1000 in a large bank with prevalent ATMs and keep the bulk of

7/14 If you have any bank deposits over 100k, I would say now is the time
        change that ASAP.

\_ This sentiment is 100% correct. I'm not worried about you fools--
it's your parents and relatives. Small business owners have it
roughest because payroll can easily be > $100K.

10/7 Wells Fargo online banking really sucks. You can only go back 60
days and if you want to see statements before that you have to pay.
Fuck Wells Fargo. Even Bank of America and Wash Mutual are better.
\_ I guess maybe those other banks are better in that one respect,
but I can tell you that I'd never bank with BofA unless I
traveled/moved to different states a lot. Talk about backward.

2/24 Another case of rich fat cats raping your average Americans.
Unregulated free market capitalism at its best!:

           it 10 years ago.

12/22 Hi guys, I'm going to be visiting Taiwan next week. What's the best
way to exchange USD for Taiwan dollars? My guess is to buy AmEx
travelers checks (as an AmEx cardholder) in cash at an AmEx office, and
exchange the checks for NT$ at an AmEx office (for free) in Taiwan.
Is changing U.S. dollars in cash at the CKS airport for NT$ that much
        worse? Thanks.

6/30 How many credit cards do you have?
\_ 4-6: I've carried ~$20,000 debt on different credit cards for
~4-5 yrs, APR: 0%, one card rolled over into the next. Had to be
careful enough to switch banks each time I roll a 0% apr into the
card. But I really only use one card for most of my purchases
that I do pay off every month.
