6/12 What's a reasonable amount to pay for a Thinkpad 770-1AU (14"),
with 160 meg of ram, 5.1 gb disk, and a DVD? -phr
\_ phr is a rich spoiled bastard. Everytime he posts he's always
selling some of his old shit (which happen to be REALLY good
for most of us out there) or he's getting the latest/greatest
           toy. Fuckin' rich bastard.
\_ Oh shutup you whiney little dirt eating school boy and go
              get a job. -not phr
\_ wow, a computer that outperforms every computer at Soda Hall
           combined.
                \_ I've got a p-90. Same category.
\_ I'd like to ask you: Who needs 160 megs of RAM on a LAP TOP?!
Running multiuser environment? On your LAP TOP?
\_ No, you need that just to run Windoze 98.
\_ You need to be able to load multiple porn images while on
              BART to pass the time.

8/3 The 9-yr-old PS2 is selling better than the PS3.
        link:www.yahoo.com/s/1109604
\_ no duh! PS3 is over-priced for the average consumer. While PS2 was
like the affordable Wii it is today, the PS3 is for hardcore
gamers who are much older (hence want more hardcore stuff).

1/12 Sometimes my Thinkpad hangs for 5-10 minutes when I unsuspend it.
Sometimes it comes back in only 10 seconds. Whats up man? I've
noticed that my MacBook is starting to take a while too (5-10
seconds) but the old MacBooks were almost instantaneous. I've
experimented with turning off services, and the only one that
seems to do the trick is closing Yahoo Messenger, which...

12/7 What kind of adapter do I need on my Thinkpad to drive that new 30"
        Apple Cinema display?
        \_ New? Well, though I didn't know there's a new model, I'm pretty sure
that like the old one, you'll need something with Dual-link DVI, or
if they moved to DisplayPort (or whatever its name was), you'll need
that. Basically, with such a large monitor, it needs a lot of

\_ Are there still Thinkpads with butterfly keyboards? I had one
11yrs ago, and it was cool because the laptop body can be made
