6/13    What's a good first book in the Fantasy genre to read? Something
        that's easy to read, and not too good that any subsequent books
        in the genre I read will pale in comparison.

           Do you only go to certain movies, afraid that a wrong choice will
           spoil your movie-going experiences for the rest of your life?  Do
           you only try to date "average" people, in the event that you'll
           enter into a long-term relationship that you might leave someday?
