4/25    Did the motd just get too long to leave my tech Q up?  Anyone out
        there want to clue me in on how to check kernel cpu usage?  I
        assumed that would be part of top's "system" cpu numbers. no?

But the processes it lists arent using anywhere close to 100 cpu cumulatively. Is there some other way to see what is eating upt the cpu? It is an MP machine? Top doesnt work very well with MP machines, for obvious reasons.
