3/15    Simple question, why wear socks?
        \_ Smelly feet?
        \_ Protect feet from any irregularities in the shoe causing calluses.
           Wick moisture away from the foot.  Provide warmth.  Not look like a
           bum.
        \_ It's easier to wash socks than shoes.
        \_ Why wash?  Why wear anything?  Why not spit on people as you walk
           by?  Why not poke everyone with a knife?
