This person must be experienced in synthesizing and simplifying information from interviews, product management, and customer visits and creating highly usable and coherent UI designs for web applications. This includes performing research into the domain, understanding and designing the workflow of the applications, and driving the design through development. It is important that the individual has a proven track record in designing Web interfaces for enterprise software. A profound understanding of Internet Explorer, style sheets, and Java Script are also a must. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the fundamentals of user interface design, have experience working through the entire product life-cycle, and be familiar with user-centered design methods such as field studies, heuristic evaluations, and usability studies.
