I used to be able to see it from my window in the co-ops. \_ Do you know the street or a nearby street? \_ somewhere around here: http://csua.org/u/5os didn't you used to be able to move the star on these things? back by CCRP, behind Prospect somewhere. \_ dude, just stfw. \_ You don't mean the Nyingma institute, do you? http://www.nyingmainstitute.com/tour.html \_ Thanks for all yer suggestions. www.nyingmainstitute.com/tour.html Meditation Garden: This peaceful rose-filled garden contains one of the largest prayer wheels in the western hemisphere and the Nyingma Institute Enlightenment Stupa. Walk among the flowers or sit and appreciate the water lilies and carp in the pond. Meditation Hall: The Institutes main meditation room was designed by the founder of the institute, Tarthang Tulku. The room is filled with many traditional Tibetan thankas and sculptures created by Institute residents and advisors. It is a place that greatly supports and enhances meditation practice and study. Art Projects: The Nyingma Institute is also the site for ongoing Tibetan art projects. Recent projects include the creation of stained-glass windows for a Buddhist chapel, and the creation of over 10,000 small ceramic statues of Avalokiteshvara - embodiment of compassion. The general public is warmly invited to participate in these art projects! Simply call the Institute to arrange a time that you can help out and enjoy the experience of creating these beautiful and inspiring images.
