Although I dont know the person who was killed, and have no knowledge of his personal habits, I would not be surprised at all to discover that this poor, dead American had been one of JC Penneys customers. Most of us have at one time or other shopped at one of their stores. So, to see a company that is as American as apple pie sponsoring the enemies of our country is more than a little disconcerting. In fact, I am quite doubtful that JC Penney even knows they are sponsoring terrorist communications. Their first indication will probably be the calls that this article generates. In fact, refreshing the page will bring you any number of ads from companies that you probably do business with including Equifax, Purina, and Verizon. One particularly gruesome screen refresh brought the photo described above beside an ad for Purina dog food. All of these companies almost certainly would be astonished to learn that they are supporting terrorism. But they are in fact helping provide Al Qaeda with the ability to communicate and plan attacks over the internet. They are virtually providing Al Qaeda with the Internet infrastructure to maintain their command and control over the various terror cells. They appear to be buying run-of-the-site ads on Yahoo groups, and the ads are being randomly placed into these messages. It is important to understand that these companies are not intentionally supporting terrorism but it is happening all the same. The Madrid bombing of March 11, 2004, is a key example of a terrorist action that was discussed in depth on the internet prior to the actual event, on an American server, and sponsored by American companies.
An email arrived earlier today through Yahoo mail promoting violence to Americans that was prominently sponsored by Equifax. The use of these services by Al Qaeda and its followers appears to be the worst kept secret in the world these days. The fact that the email addresses, and the Yahoogroups used by Al Qaeda operatives continue to function despite the fact that they are in clear violation not only of the Terms of Service, but also of federal law, is something that is called into question on a regular basis. The FBI/CIA/Interpol/ insert your anti terror agency here is watching and monitoring these groups and people seems to be the most popular. Yet in the meantime, the groups continue to function, and provide communications essential for Al Qaeda leaders to maintain command and control of the various terror cells. Al Qaedas online training manual, Al Battar , is quite clear about this. It explicitly instructs its readers on how to obtain throwaway email addresses, and how to maintain operational and personal security while communicating on the internet. There is no question after reading these publications that the internet plays a key role in the planning and execution of terror attacks throughout the world. In the meantime, stockholders of major corporations, and consumers who use the products of these corporations, may wish to consider asking some tough questions, such as: Are you with us or against us?
On 4/9/2004, Lebanese Shiite cleric Imam Mohammad Hussain Fadlallah indicated in a sermon Friday that the fortieth massacre would occur on Sunday 4/11. There are references to events in Israel, and the incidents in Karbala, Basra, and Baghdad on the Ashura holiday last month, which resulted in significant civilian casualties. In addition, a posting was made on the Global Islamic Media justifying the mutilation of bodies, and the use of fire and swords in the jihad. Added to this are postings on at least 3 different jihadi message boards requesting support and reinforcements from the brothers in the Arabian Island, which is a reference to Saudi Arabia. In addition, in the past we have seen postings indicating that the insurgents may in fact plan to cause a mass casualty civilian event unfortunately we have been unable to discern any specifics and hold the US responsible for it. Based on these two postings, combined with the recent events in Iraq and especially Fallujah, we have concerns that American servicemen may be walking into ambushes tomorrow in at least two locations - Karbala and one other that we have not been able to nail down. We also have concern that the insurgents may be planning a bombing or other attack that would result in large numbers of civilian casualties. There are reports in the mainstream media indicating that the insurgency may be dieing down, due to the efforts of Shiite leader Sistani, but so far there are no indications of this on the jihadi boards as of the time this article was written. The message was posted by an individual with an established track record on the message board, and in the past he has proven to be a source of valuable intelligence. And not it is to be fulfilled, according to the entrance of a new video that we recognize. But a careful examination of the video reveals that this is not a new tape at all . It is simply a portion of the video tape of Osama Bin Laden that was aired by Al Jazeera on December 26, 2001 . The segment released this morning is 46 seconds long and is excerpted from the middle of the video. Also worth mentioning is that all the tapes that are currently in the public domain of the December 26, 2001 videotape release have the Al Jazeera logo on it. This tape doesnt have the AlJazeera logo on it, nor does it have the word Exclusive branded upon it. Based on the position of the logo it could not have been cropped out. On March 4, the Osama Bin Laden audio tape, released in January 2004 to Al Jazeera, but never made public, was released on the internet. In that tape, Bin Laden makes explicit threats to Spain , which he calls Andalusia . In this excerpt, Bin Laden makes explicit references to Israel , as seen in the translation below. The translation reads as follows: Thus, Israel - and behind it, America - killed all the children of the world. And who is to stop Israel from the murder of our sons tomorrow in Tabook or in Jauf or in the surrounding areas of Palestine ? And what will the rulers do if Israel starts to expand its unfair, unjust and false settlements - which the leaders do declare as such - beyond its currently known boundaries, and says, Our borders extend to Medina? What will the rulers do but yield and succumb to the American Zionist lobby. And as always, rational people awaken and realize that what happened to Muhammad al-Durra will happen to their own sons and women tomorrow - and there is no power and force except from Allah. Also of importance is what is said elsewhere in that speech of December 26.
