12/19 http://csua.org/u/5bx Does "dark-skinned" mean black? \_ Not necessarily. \_ that's what I mean. If they mean "black", they should say something like that. If he looked like a dark skinned Indian,Middle-Easterner, or Asian, they should add that info too. \_ It was late at night. Maybe they couldn't tell... \_ What was a dark-skinned person doing in the Marina after dark anyway? Very suspicious. \_ Kill whitey! |

csua.org/u/5bx -> sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/gate/archive/2003/12/19/shooting1219.DTL San Francisco police have released a sketch of a witness wanted for questioning in the death of a 28-year-old Daniel Price of San Francisco in front of his wife in Cow Hollow early this morning. Police say that following the killing the assailant tried to carjack a driver during his getaway. The name of the victims wife has not been released but San Francisco police spokesman Dewayne Tully confirmed that the couple was married. Tully said that the couple took a taxi to a location in the 2700 block of Gough Street at 12:10 am Friday morning. The taxi let the woman out, but Price stayed inside and the taxi was driving away to take him to a different location, according to Tully. Price allegedly looked out the back window of the taxi and saw a man confronting his wife on the street. Tully said police are not calling the confrontation a mugging yet, because they do not know if the assailants intention was to rob the woman or just harass her. Tully said Price then ordered the taxi driver to back up, and jumped out of the cab to fend off the man who was confronting his wife. Police say the man shot Price once in the head and then fled on foot. Tully said that a man approached a driver near Gough and Filbert streets shortly after the shooting and unsuccessfully tried to carjack that driver, but soon fled on foot. Police are describing the man they are seeking as being dark-skinned between 30 and 40 years of age. He is described as being about 6 feet tall, with a slender build and was last seen wearing a blue jacket and dark pants. Earlier, they had termed him a suspect, but withdrew that terminology.
