12/8    How do I shrink a knit cotton sweater?  Should I wash it hot or dry it
        hot or just dry it for a long time?
        \_ Cotton shrinks a little the first couple times its washed.  I think
           you need to dry it hot.  If it's been washed a number of times,
           it won't shrink anymore.
           \_ This is an old sweater that's just gotten somewhat stretched out.
              Does that make a difference?
              \_ If it's been washed a number of times, it has already shrunk
                 all it's going to shrink.
