3/26 Zombie Time on the Iraq War Fifth Anniversary Protest http://www.zombietime.com/iraq_war_fifth_anniversary_protest I like the 'Irreconcilable Indifference' page. \_ I'm a self-described liberal, but even I found the 5th Anniv. protest pretty laughable. For zombietime, this is just shooting fish in a barrel. Aim higher. \_ I think shooting in a barrel is ZT's point. He doesn't have to aim very high. |

3/26 According to Brian Behlendorf, Moby once had a soda account. We need to restore this asap. \_ Account name? \_ Account name moby. Long since deleted, it appears. It get a few mentions on ne-raves circa 1992, and Brian swears that it's true. \_ Moby dick? Who is moby? \_ Who's Moby? Everything is (clearly) Wrong. |

3/26 Earth friendly gold and conflict free diamond, along with your conflict free certificate here now! http://www.brilliantearth.com \_ I'd rather reward the innovaters who are making artificial diamonds than reward the existing diamond mining industry. \_ I hear ya bro but try to explain this to your mother/father in law, they'll think you're a worthless POS. \_ Heh, I don't think I have the same problem. Prospective bride's mom is a religious fanatic cult member and has no contact anymore with my GF. Her Dad's an engineer and probably would like the idea-- and if not, well, he doesn't have a big role in her life anyway. I'm more worried about what she thinks, but she's pretty practical too and knows how I feel about the diamond industry. \_ Huh, I never got my wife a diamond, and our gold rings were second hand. -!pp \_ How about an earth friendly and conflict 7 diamond whore? |

3/27 Is there a better word then "uncalled-for" in the following situation: - X proactively offers help to Y, and the help should be useful. - Y doesn't appreciate X's help. - Therefore we say X's help is "uncalled-for". Thx. \_ 'uncalled-for' is typically for an overreaction. "Hey, disagreeing with me is okay, but yelling was uncalled-for." \_ I see. -- OP \- call-without-continue \_ unwanted \_ unsolicited \_ unappreciated (duh?) unlooked-for \_ Are you X or Y? \_ I'm X. -- OP |
