              THE MAIN DRAGS." hehe.

04/64 FREE EDU T-SHIRT : College students can register at http://edu.com and get a
        free t-shirt (US residents only)
           http://www.weeklyfreebie.com/cgi-bin/00/0530.cgi?tshirt
\_ just what we needed, more crappy tshirts with ugly ads on them.
\_ Can I get on their spam email list too?!

04/64 What does it mean when some statistic says that some form of
contraception has a xx% success rate? I've seen condom stats
as low as 80%. Does that mean that 1 out of every 5 uses will
get you pregnant? That doesn't seem to make sense since aren't
women fertile about that same percentage of the month?
\_ my memory is it is after a year of regular use
        \_ It means "parenthood".

6/3 Thank goodness, somebody finally nuked that whole convolution
proof thread. Please keep that shit at a math newsgroup and
        NOT on the motd.
\_ I would rather hear about a good proof than about most of the
other shit regularly discussed here. -- ilyas
\_ Tell us of the stars, ilyas....
please lick my hairy scrotum during a prolonged stint during which
\_ dear mr. "i would like to hear more about dating vapid playboy
           bunnies",

please lick my hairy scrotum afetr a prolonged stint during which
i have not had a chance to shower.

           Sincerely,

           Ali.
           \_ You have a scrotum?
\_ you would have licked it sooner had you known?

        \_ DA STARS! DA STARS!
\_ A more painful twist on the centuries-old "dining philosophers"
problem. Really not all _that_ impressive.
\_ Ok, try the other one then. -- ilyas
        \_ Is this for real?

6/3 I think these pro-bike and anti-bike fanatics are equally stupid.
\_ No one cares what you think and there are no anti-bike fanatics.
There are bike fanatics. Anti-car fanatics. And the rest of us
opposed to people shoving their lifestyle down the throats of
others at all times, no matter how inappropriate.
\_ excuse me, Mz. Tyranny of the Majority, but I don't like
your easy dismissal of alternative lifestyles. TOTM is just
as much shoving lifestyles down throats as anything.
\_ No one is insisting that you're evil for riding a bike or
that driving a car is the only Pure and Moral lifestyle
choice, thanks. Do whatever the fuck you want with your
life and keep it to your loud mouthed minority self. Go
play with an ac transit bus. Public transport is your
                   friend.

04/64 So who are you really and what were you before? What did you do
        and what did you think?
\_ Rick is the type of person that if I were a woman, and I weren't
around, I would be in love with him.

4/65 does anyone know where you can get the Sun Ultra-5 for ~ $800
        for the student discount?

\_ maybe you can get it w/o monitor?
\_ No. It's always a package deal for that price.
\_ My original post never said it was just a "student discount".
Anyways, I think it's too late now. Just like with the free
online classes thru SunEd. But wait awhile, the promotions
