9/7 Starting 1992, politburo is the CSUA god. Worship politburo now.
        \_ why 1992?
\_ Soda was founded in 1992?
\_ Soda is a machine, not something that would be "founded".
Soda Mk. I went online in 1989 (Happy 10th birthday
to soda & the OCF BTW). The CSUA is almost 30 years
                       old.
\_ How about soda as 128.32.43.52?
\_ 1994 - when we moved to soda hall.
\_ tom was on politburo in 1992

9/7 Any recommendation for a price tracker for analog camera?
\_ http://www.bhphotovideo.com is the biggest photo mail order store.
http://www.cameraworld.com is also a popular one. Their prices are
neither the lowest nor the highest, but they are are good
indicators of current retail prices of various items. -- yuen

9/7 Is anyone going to make a costco run soon?
        \_ yes
\_ Install unix. It will solve the problem.
\_ ED ED ED IS THE STANDARD!
           \_ Ride bike instead.
           \_ Install Linux, ride bike!
        \_ I am...

9/7 The politburo should be publically flogged for failing to recognize
        June 20, 1999 as the perfect excuse for a "Soda.berkeley.edu 10th
        Anniversary Beer Bash/BBQ"
\_ feh. if only such a date were in the logs books.
\_ It's in one of them and on the web page. -alanc-

        Is this for real?
\_ Yes, and the url they list is most informative.
also, you can do research on CBPC 17538.45 in the CA
           penal code.
\_ Yeah, but try to enforce this. We'll be getting spammed until
there's a real law against it and a few folks pay some fines for
it. There'll still be low level out of country spam after that but
           nothing like today.
