8/14    What's the point of restoring a 12+ hour old motd after 30+ replies
        have been added?  That's stupid.  Just delete it.  The end result is
        the same: a useless motd with no information or humor value for
        anyone.  Stop doing that.  Just delete it if the current stuff annoys
        you so much.
