7/5 I'm thinking about buying a computer from Dell-Outlet online. Has anyone had any experience buying refurbished computer from them? please email me for any input. -bkong \_ Buy DELL! It's good stuff. Think of used Dells as the certified pre-owned Lexus of computers. They really clean it up and have it working. |

7/5 Damn tradition! If it wasn't for people trying to appease older people who don't like to change because their brains have rusted into place, we'd be learning shorthand, not cursive. \_ What are you babbling about? We'd *not* be learning shorthand. What a stupid ass lame idea. |

7/5 $tanfraud rules1 http://www.iptq.com/benveniste/Default.htm \_ jeehosephat. If this guy's theories are true, it looks like Yoda was right. The Force is everywhere. Or at least the memory. Then again, he first published 10 years ago. Why has noone made news about this since then, if it were verifiable? \_ His results were NOT verifiable, and in a later issue of NATURE his results were refuted and he was made to look pretty stupid. He complained about the methods used to test his results, but ultimately nobody really believes him. -drex |

His body was found the nexy day. No chew marks but was pretty dead. \_ The story is also here: http://www.hotcoco.com/news/nation/natwire/614868l.htm \_ thanks. |

7/6 Do you guys know how Jon Denver died? \_ plane crash \_ Which one? Delta? Southwest? \_ more specifically, he was an amateur pilot. he fucked up and crashed his one-seater. \_ Wasn't he flying an experimental aircraft as well? \_ Yes he was, it was obviously a conspiracy. |

7/6 This is a pretty dead horse, but since telnet will be gone soon, why can't sshd be set to listen to the now defunct port 23 for those of us behind lame-o firewalls? Maybe I'm missing something... but it seems like a no-brainer solution. \_ that would keep people from using S/Key \_ your firewall isnt nearly as lames as those that only allow the telnet _protocol_ by use of annoying proxies. |

7/5 Has anybody tried those protein shakes that GNC sells to build muscle? Do those drinks really work or are they more of a placebo? \_ yes \_ It's up to you to turn that protein into muscle. It may become fat, too! They work if you do! --dim \_ Protein is protein. Eat meat everyday and you'll get lots of protein, too. |
