        emacs on soda around the end of this month assuming:
        1. there is disk space for me to make it.
        2. i manage to port all the local hacks.
        3. i dont hear anything from my GNUperiors telling me otherwise.
        Let me know if you have any objections. I'll try to make things
        transparent but some of the uglier hacks may be non-easily-portable
        but the potential wins are large [so is the bin]. Unless you have
