4/9     Massive campus power failure from 7:15 to about 11:30 hoses lots
        of things. Soda didn't come up properly; one disk didn't power up
        and scrambled all the mount entries for the rest of the partitions.
        This made entire users directories appear gone. This has been rectified.
        Everything seems to have survived this ordeal relatively intact... -ERic
